Planning a Cruise (“Way to Save”)
Are planning to take a cruise or have booked a cruise already? Well, here are some great ways to save MONEY. Cruise agents don’t want you to know that the #1 way to save some money is to pre-plan and book your island stop tours before getting on the ship. Local travel agents will assist you in booking your adventure and island stop tours. So if you are looking for a dive package, horseback riding, a round of golf, a trip to the beach or maybe a Zip Line adventure just call or search for a local island travel agent and see just how much you can save. Cruise ship providers usually inflate the cost. I often encounter people visiting our island who have paid as much as $120 per person. If they would have just called us they would have paid between $45 and $ 55 per person.
It always amazes me to find out how much people are paying for these tours through the cruise line.
Cruise lines are a 100 billion dollar a year industry. Cruise ships will trap you into thinking; “Travel agents can’t guarantee you make it back to the ship on time.” or “We can’t protect you if you book with them,” etc. Don’t be fooled, local agencies know the islands well and personally deal with each provider. The difference is with a travel agent you save a lot of money.
